Woven necklace with Lantern Tree seeds

Necklace woven from plant fibre with seeds. The seeds are from Tianina (Tahitian name - not sure of Samoan name?) or Lantern Tree. I have a feeling the plant fibre may be something similar to kaukei (Tokelauan name for young coconut leaves).

Made in Samoa. From Marieta, who usually has a stall at Otara Market.
